ChemInform Abstract
Some new alkylidyne metal complexes (III) are prepared. Their reactions to give di- and tri-metal compounds are described. One of the CO ligands at the Fe in (VII) can be substituted by PMe3, the new derivative is obtained with 75% yield. The reaction of (IIIb) with Pt(C2H4)(PMe3)2 is investigated, a complex analogous to that previously obtained with a unsubstituted cyclopentadienyl tungsten residue could not be isolated. The complexes (XVIb) are prepared from (IIIf) on reaction with Mo(CO)3(NCMe)3 or (XVII), respectively (yield 48 or 31%).
