Abstract
Title compounds of type (III) and (VI) are synthesized as shown in the scheme and screened for their pharmacological activity.

Title compounds of type (III) and (VI) are synthesized as shown in the scheme and screened for their pharmacological activity. The tabulated results reveal that (III) generally exhibit greater antiinflammatory and analgesic effects than (VI). None of the title compounds show antimicrobial or antifungal activity.
