ChemInform Abstract

The chiral diamines (I) and the aryloxyaluminum dichloride (IIb) are employed as coordinating agents in the asymmetric coupling of the Grignard reagents (III) with benzaldehyde (IV), yielding the alcohols (R)-(V).
