Abstract

Palladium-catalyzed coupling reaction of the aryl bromides (I) with the vinylstannane (II) yields the styrenes (III).

ChemInform Abstract

Palladium-catalyzed coupling reaction of the aryl bromides (I) with the vinylstannane (II) yields the styrenes (III). Using two equivalents of (II), dibromobenzene (IVa) is converted to the divinylbenzene (IVb).
