ChemInform Abstract

Oxidation of the N-aminoquinazolones (I) generates the corresponding N-nitrenes, which undergo intramolecular double bond addition to give the stereoisomeric aziridines (II)-(V); the transition state geometry is deduced from the isomer ratios.
