Abstract

It is demonstrated that the quality (in terms of photosensitivity and continuity) of cathodic CdS films deposited from acidic thiosulfate solutions can be improved by using buffered solutions during deposition.

ChemInform Abstract

It is demonstrated that the quality (in terms of photosensitivity and continuity) of cathodic CdS films deposited from acidic thiosulfate solutions can be improved by using buffered solutions during deposition. Codeposition of Cd metal is found to cause a decrease in photosensitivity of the CdS film.
