ChemInform Abstract: DTA and XPS Study of "cis-Platin".

ChemInform Abstract

The results show that the cis-trans isomerisation of cis-[(NH₃)₂Cl₂Pt] occurs at 306°C and decomposition of trans-platin at 319°C. The XPS data are consistent with a lower electron density on Pt and a higher electron density on Cl^- for cis-platin relative to trans-platin.
