Abstract
The stannazane (I) reacts with PCI, to give the diaminochlorophosphane (II), which has only been detected NMR-spectroscopically.

The stannazane (I) reacts with PCI, to give the diaminochlorophosphane (II), which has only been detected NMR-spectroscopically. (II) decomposes quantitatively to the zwitterion (III). From (III) one obtains (IV) and (V) [yields only given for (IVa)]. An X-ray structure analysis of (III) (space group C2/ m) and the NMR spectra of (III), (IVa), and (V) are discussed.
