Abstract
(i)-Nicotin (I) wird durch Verwendung von D-Weinsäure und anschlie- βend Di-p-toluoyl-L-weinsäure in optisch reines (+)-Nicotin gespalten.

(i)-Nicotin (I) wird durch Verwendung von D-Weinsäure und anschlie- βend Di-p-toluoyl-L-weinsäure in optisch reines (+)-Nicotin gespalten. Im Vergleich mit dem Di-L-tartrat von - -Nicotin ist das Di-D-tartrat von + -Nicotin auf den Blutdruck bei Ratten und das isolierte Meerschweinchen-Ileum wen′ er wirksam.
