Abstract
Entgegen einer früheren Veröffentlichung wird das Reaktionsprodukt aus dem Cyclooctatetraenyl-Dianion (II) und Trimethylchlorsilan (III) NMR-spektroskopisch als 5 ,8-Bis-(trimethylsilyl)-l ,3,6-cyclooctatrien (IV) identifiziert.

Entgegen einer früheren Veröffentlichung wird das Reaktionsprodukt aus dem Cyclooctatetraenyl-Dianion (II) und Trimethylchlorsilan (III) NMR-spektroskopisch als 5 ,8-Bis-(trimethylsilyl)-l ,3,6-cyclooctatrien (IV) identifiziert. Das bei ZimmeF temperatur im Vakuum stabile Produkt wird durch Luft oder bei höherer Temperatur zersetzt oder isomerisiert. (IR-Daten).
