Optimization of powder-diffraction identification
Abstract
A mathematical model for X-ray powder-diffraction phase analysis is formulated and, based on this model, new identification criteria are established and the conditions under which a solution is optimal are discussed. The proposed concept is illustrated with a three-phase sample problem.
