Abstract

This paper is a continuation of Berkowitz's (1979) systemic ideas about the treatment of troubled adolescents and their families. A therapeutic approach which is conceptually and structurally relevent to the developmental task of differentiation and individuation is presented. This task is viewed systemically as a family's task rather than an individual's task. Specific problems and applications are discussed.
