Abstract

en

The possibility for an extra electron to be transferred by a supersonic acoustic soliton in a thermalized one-dimensional (1D) lattice with quintic anharmonism is studied. Existence conditions for solitonic solutions and electron states in a distorting potential produced by the acoustic soliton are analyzed. The effect of thermal vibrations of the molecules on the state of an extra electron held by a periodic molecular chain is demonstrated.
