Abstract
enPolarization-dependent optical transmission spectra of ϵ-GaSe are measured at room temperature in the wave number range from 180 to 600 cm−1. The absorption peaks observed can be interpreted in terms of two-phonon combination modes including Γ, A, and M point phonons. The M point phonon frequencies derived from the two-phonon absorption spectra are in good accordance with data previously published.
