Abstract

Zentralblatt MATH (zbMATH) is the world's most comprehensive and longest-running abstracting and reviewing service in pure and applied mathematics. The database contains more than 3.6 million bibliographic entries, starting from the 18th century. The presentation during the DMV/GAMM meeting gave a short introduction to the search engine with emphasis on selected fields of applied mathematics. This is a shortened version of the talk without details about the database itself. (© 2016 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
