Abstract

The intensity of reflected second harmonic light from the ADP (NH4H2PO4) crystal immersed in the optically denser liquid 1-bromo-naphthalene has been theoretically calculated, with the theory of Bloem-bergen and Pershan, as a function of incident angle of the fundamental beam of Nd:YAG laser. A nonlinear Brewster angle θiNB of 43.32° is predicted.
