DISEASES OF THE HOP

Abstract

An account is given of the most important fungus and virus diseases of hops. These include Mould, Downy Mildew and Verticillium Wilt and the virus diseases Nettlehead and Mosaic. The control measures wherever established and the progress of recent research are considered.

A number of diseases of more local importance, such as Canker, Armillaria Root Rot, Chlorotic Disease are also briefly mentioned.
