ABSTRACT
Two new C2 symmetric macrocycles, soluble in water, were prepared according to the one-step procedure using azacrown ethers and azidosaccharides. Their complexes with p-toluenesulfonamide were studied by proton NMR spectroscopy. The influence of the size of azacrown ether and the solvent effect on the stability of the guest–host complexes were examined.
