Abstract

The novel perfluorinated vinyl ether containing sulfonimide functionality CF2 = CFOR1SO2NHSO2CF3 was synthesized by multiple reaction steps. It could be copolymerized with tetrafluoroethylene by radox initiator to give a novel perfluorinated ionomer polymer. Its physical and chemical properties were studied.
