Abstract

A novel greenish blue-emitting amorphous molecular material, 2,5-bis{4-[2-naphthyl(phenyl)amino]phenyl thiophene (BN-pA-1T), was designed and synthesized. Its molecular properties, glass-forming property, and application to an organic EL device were investigated.
