A Novel Lanostanoid Lactone From the Alga Hypnea cerricornis
Abstract
A novel lanostanoid lactone (1) was first isolated from the Alga Hypnea cerricornis collected from the Xisha Islands in the South China Sea. The structure of 1 was determined on spectral evidence as 5α-lansta-8-en-3β, 22°-dihydroxy-22 (R), 24 (S)-lactone.
