ChemInform Abstract
New chiral and non-chiral 14-membered macrocyclic ligands [cf. (V)—(VII)], which may serve as good candidates for metal complexation and chiral catalysis, are designed and synthesized via dimerization of appropriate benzopyran derivatives.
