ChemInform Abstract

The nickelates (IV) are synthesized via a citrate route and a classical ceramic route for comparative studies. The citrate route, requiring significantly lower temperatures than the ceramics methodology, provides a finely dispersed powder that is more prone to sintering than the corresponding ceramics. Moreover, the samples derived from citrates are more dense and exhibit higher conductivity.
