The application of substrate (I), acylating reagent (II) and AlCl3 as catalyst in the proportions 1:1:0.4 at elevated temperature affords products (III)—(V). In contrast, at room temperature and with equimolar amounts of the reaction partners and catalyst only acylated product (III) is formed.
