ChemInform Abstract

Unsymmetric metallophthalocyanines, e.g. (III), carrying alkylthio and acetyloxyethylthio groups on peripheral positions, are prepared from (I) and (II) and the corresponding metal salt. Their solubility is superior to that of symmetrical phthalocyanines.
