ChemInform Abstract
Reaction of the corresponding bis(trimethylsilyl) stibanido complexes of ruthenium with equivalent amounts of acyl chlorides yields mixed acyl(trimethylsilyl)stibanido complexes (IIa), (IIb), and (IIc), whereas reaction with two molar equivalents of acyl chlorides affords the diacylstibanido complexes (IId) and (IIe). In case of the iron complexes (I) excess amounts of acyl chlorides are necessary. The molecular structures of (IIa) and (IIe) are elucidated by single crystal X-ray analysis.
