ChemInform Abstract

First examples for the intermediate generation of α-zirconated vinylic selenolates are presented. Se-alkylation and subsequent Zr/Te exchange furnish geometrically pure ketene telluro(seleno) acetals which can be reacted with various electrophiles via selective Te/Li exchange.
