ChemInform Abstract
The carbocyclic analogues of naturally occurring β-D-ribofuranose-based ribonucleoside monophosphates are synthesized. The synthetic approach employs Mitsunobu coupling of the heterocycles (II) with a differentially protected chiral carbocyclic core (I).
