ChemInform Abstract

The 109Ag and 19F NMR spectra of KAgF4 dissolved in anhydrous HF are reported. The 109Ag chemical shift, +5270 ppm, is far off from that of any other Ag(III) or Ag(I) species, thus reflecting the extreme chemical properties of the AgF-4 ion.
