ChemInform Abstract

The structures of the new diterpenoids esulatin D (I) and esulatin E (II) are determined mainly by 1D and 2D NMR experiments. The absolute configuration of compound (I) is confirmed by x-ray analysis. The absolute configuration of (II) is assigned by similarity to known structures.
