ChemInform Abstract

Phosphoramidates (IV) of glutamic acid, potential inhibitors of glutamyl hydrolases, are prepared by 1H-tetrazole catalyzed reaction of phosphonyl dichloride (I) with alcohols and glutamic acid benzyl ester. Undesired disubstitution of (I) by the alcohols is minimized due to the presence of 1H-tetrazole.
