ChemInform Abstract

The structure of the title compound is solved using a twinned crystal. Na6Zn3(PO4)3×3H2O crystallizes in the cubic space group P213 with Z = 4. The structure consists of a three-dimensional framework of strictly alternating ZnO4 and PO4 tetrahedra with the Na+ ions and H2O molecules located within the resulting cages.
