Azacyclization of propargylic dihalides with primary amines leads to title compounds such as (III), (VII), and (XIII). Compounds (IV) or (VIII) and (IX) are formed additionally in small amounts in the former cases. The parent compounds (V) and (X) can be obtained by removal of the isopropyl group using a highly selective dealkylation reagent.
