Pyrrole derivatives (IV) and (V) are synthesized from acyl halides ( III) and azazirconacyclopentene, prepared from complex (I) and alkyne ( II) in the presence of LiBHEt3, via transmetalation of zirconium to copper in a one-pot reaction.
