ChemInform Abstract

Photooxidation of cyclic trisubstituted olefins in the presence of NaN3 and copper(II) triflate gives keto nitriles (II) in good yield. No results are obtained in the case of the higher-membered disubstituted olefins (VIa) and (VIIIa).
