ChemInform Abstract

Various heterocycles can be synthesized by the demonstrated catalytic asymmetric diene cyclization using a chiral zirconium complex. In this reaction, the substituent on the alkene carbon affects the reaction course forming five- and six-membered heterocycles with high e.e. values.
