The title compound (V) is synthesized by a novel four-step sequence starting from furazanopyrazine (I). Key step is the one-pot transformation of sulfilimine (IV) into (V) via an oxidation/tetrazole ring cleavage/nitrogen loss/ring closure/proton trapping sequence.
