ChemInform Abstract

The effects of the title compound (I), L-tryptophan and L- phenylalanine against plant growth using tea and pine pollen grains, lettuce, cress, and rice seeds are investigated. The results show that they exhibit different activities. Therefore, the biological activity of the title dipeptide results from the intact compound and not the degradation to the amino acids.
