ChemInform Abstract

Some new Rh-catalysts are synthesized and their use as chiral catalysts in the insertion reactions of diazo compounds such as (I) is investigated. The best e.e.-value in this reaction is 13%. Insertion of alcohols to diazo esters in the presence of the novel catalysts proceeds in good yield but with 0% e.e.
