ChemInform Abstract

The synthesis of a number of 5′-O-sulfamoylated carbocyclic 2′,3′- dideoxy nucleosides related to carbovir (cf. (III)) and the sulfamoylated AZT-triphosphate analogue (VII) is given. Some of the synthesized nucleoside derivatives display significant in vitro anticancer activity.
