ChemInform Abstract

The structure of the new cytotoxic title alkaloid (I) is elucidated by spectral data and chemical transformations. The chiral centers of C-4 and C-5 are found to be opposite compared with the already known pseudo-distomins A and B isolated also from Pseudodistoma kanoko.
