ChemInform Abstract

The new tetraaza-molecule (V) is used as a tetradentate ligand for a cationic mononuclear Ni(II) complex. This complex is an efficient catalyst for the intramolecular electrochemical cyclization of o- haloaryl compounds containing unsaturated side chains as shown.
