ChemInform Abstract
The introduction of heterocyclic ring systems as an amide bond isostere leads to peptidomimetics such as (VIII), (IX), and (XII) with the title biological activity. It is noteworthy that the incorporation of an imidazole leads to the most potent compounds in this series. Further structure-activity relationships are studied and discussed.
