ChemInform Abstract
A compound with the brutto formula Na2O×6 Ga2O3×6 V2O5. times.19 H2O is separated from aqueous solutions of Ga(NO3)3 and NaVO3 (1:6 to 1:9) at pH 2-4.5. Based on spectroscopic (IR, NMR, X-ray), thermogravimetry and chemical analyses the probable formula Na(Ga(OH) 2V6O16×3 H2O)×5.5 H2O is ascribed to this product.
