Structure-activity relationships are investigated for some analogues of the dipeptide (I) in both angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and neutral endopeptidase (NEP) inhibition. Compound (II) shows good activity against NEP in vitro, while (III) is also more potent against ACE in vivo than (I).
