ChemInform Abstract

Single electron transfer induced photocyclization reactions of the title compounds (I) or (V) lead to modest to high yielding production of cyclized products with high degree of chemo- and regioselectivity. The reactions appear to hold synthetic potential for the construction of medium and large ring heterocyclic compounds.
