ChemInform Abstract

In view of the interest in molecules having C=C double bonds with pyramidalized C atoms, the structure of the title compound (I) is determined by X-ray analysis (P2/n, Z = 8). Polarization of the π system and .pi±pi. electronic repulsions at the methylene C atom may be responsible for the pyramidalization.
