ChemInform Abstract

In the title Li cell thin films of TiS2 and of LiCoO2 are employed as negative and positive electrodes, resp., in conjunction with a 1.52 M solution of LiAsF6 in acetonitrile as electrolyte, which has a conductivity of 0.0522 S/cm at 25 °C. The cell is assembled in the discharged state and exhibits an open-circuit potential of about 0. 31 V and after charging of 2.1 V. It exhibits excellent charge- discharge characteristics and good cycle life (500 cycles).
