Abstract
Reaction of the aminofurazans (I), (V), and (VII) with tributylborane, coupling with the carbodiimides (III), and subsequent alcoholysis give the guanidinofurazans (III), (VI), and (VIII).

Reaction of the aminofurazans (I), (V), and (VII) with tributylborane, coupling with the carbodiimides (III), and subsequent alcoholysis give the guanidinofurazans (III), (VI), and (VIII). The aminoguanidinofurazan (IV) is obtained from (I) and (IIa) in the absence of tributylborane.
