Abstract

The first detection of SiF+ by spectroscopic means is achieved at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths.

ChemInform Abstract

The first detection of SiF+ by spectroscopic means is achieved at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths. The microwave spectrum is analyzed in terms of eight precisely determined mass-independent Dunham coefficients. The Dunham analysis yields an experimental potential function which is in excellent agreement with ab initio MP4SDQ and CI potential functions.
